What TidalTask provides
TidalTask is an ADHD-focused task management app. It lets you capture tasks, set due dates, reminders, and repeat schedules, organize tasks into groups and tags, collaborate with other users, and access your data on the web, iOS, and Android.
Creating an account
To use most features, you need an account with a first name, last name, and email address. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping it up to date in Settings.
Keeping your account secure
You are responsible for safeguarding your password, two-factor authentication method, passkeys, API keys, and any device tokens connected to your account, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@tidaltask.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a TidalTask account.
Rules
Acceptable use
When using TidalTask, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or rate limits, including through automated scraping or credential-stuffing attempts
- Misuse the API, OAuth clients, or device tokens outside of their intended purpose
- Upload content through tasks, reviews, or any other feature that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to others
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
Your content
Your content and data
Your tasks and data
You own the content you create in TidalTask, including your tasks, groups, tags, and reviews. By using the Service, you grant TidalTask a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and any collaborators you assign to a task.
API keys, OAuth clients, and device tokens
TidalTask lets you generate API keys, register OAuth clients, and connect device tokens, including for Siri Shortcuts. You are responsible for keeping these credentials confidential. Raw API key values are shown once and cannot be recovered — if lost, you will need to revoke and regenerate. You can revoke API keys, OAuth clients, and device tokens at any time in Settings.
Reviews
If you submit a star rating or written review, you agree it may be displayed publicly. If you delete your account, the review is retained in anonymized form, disconnected from your identity, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Providers
Third-party services
TidalTask relies on a small number of third-party services to operate, including Resend for transactional email, MongoDB Atlas or a self-hosted database for storage, Apple APNs and Google FCM for push notifications, and a Discord webhook for internal operational logging. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of these providers where relevant. Details of what data is shared with each provider are in our Privacy Policy.
Ending the agreement
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by going to Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your tasks, sessions, passkeys, device tokens, notifications, and OAuth authorization codes.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law. Where practical, we will provide notice by email before doing so.
